1. Tax Accountant
Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns, payments, paperwork, and reports as needed.
- Assess and investigate complicated tax situations to find solutions.
- Manage and keep the company’s tax database up to date.
- Determine tax savings and offer profit-boosting strategies.
- Ensure that you comply with regulations by providing the necessary information to federal, state, and local authorities.
- During audits, provide assistance and direction.
- Examine tax regulations and propose solutions to reduce the tax burden.
- Maintain an eye on industry trends and tax changes.
- Prepare timely quarterly and annual tax returns.
2. Accountant
Responsibilities
- Compliance with all accounting and financial regulations at the firm, municipal, state, and federal levels.
- Financial data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Developing periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and so on.
- Data presentation to managers, investors, and other entities.
- Keeping proper financial records.
- Auditing and resolving inconsistencies.
- Calculating taxes.
- Keeping up-to-date on current financial and accounting legislation.
- Preparing budgets and financial predictions to assist management in decision-making.
