Job Description
We want a young woman with a lot of skills and good communication skills to join our media company as a TV host and journalist.
Responsibilities
- Work with the technical and production teams to plan and practice shows.
- Also, Guests can be interviewed in-house, over the phone, or on location.
- Then, Researching and checking the background of the information that will be shown on shows
- Moreover, Keeping a clean, put-together look
- Collect, check, and make sense of data
- Writing in-depth pieces for magazines and news websites.
- Check out leads and tell editors about interesting story ideas
- Scouting for stories and covering events. Able to keep a high standard of ethics and objectivity in reporting.
Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, journalism, media, or a related field.
Skills and Abilities
- Proven work experience as a TV host or journalist for a minimum of two years
- Articles that have been written
- Highly driven and sure of themselves
- You can keep up with the latest news by going to events, reading different papers and opinion pieces, and using social media.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills as well as presentation skills. Being able to speak and write in French is a plus.
- Excellent networking skills and the ability to get information out of people. Must be well-groomed and likable.
- Being able to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Must be honest and keep secrets to the highest level.
- Skills in managing time and staying organized. Ready to travel on official business.
- Having a qualified driver with a license is a plus.
