A reputable business in Tema needs an Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data and putting together reports.
- Compiles and analyzes account information to make entries for assets, liabilities, and capital.
- Entering account information helps keep track of financial transactions.
- Analyzes accounting options and makes suggestions for how to handle money.
- Summarizes the current financial situation by gathering information and making reports such as a balance sheet, a profit and loss statement, and others.
Needed Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least a Part 3 qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
