Job Title: Credit Analyst Officer
ABOUT THE JOB:
- The Credit Analyst helps the Area Managers build and manage the company’s loan portfolio so that the company’s goals can be met. These activities include the whole process of getting a loan, including the application, the appraisal, the paperwork, the monitoring, and any other help that is needed.
- He or she is responsible for checking and confirming all assessments of documents shared by Field Officer(s) and making decisions about the client’s credit application based on a variety of criteria.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Look at the loan requirements (documents) of current or potential clients and make sure they meet the requirements.
- Look at the borrower’s ability to pay back the loan and give approval based on what you find.
- Make sure that the company’s credit risk is low or doesn’t exist.
- Compare credit files and look for differences and discrepancies.
- Make files or folders to store documents from customers.
- Get in touch with clients if you need to do more checking.
- Do any other tasks that may be asked of you.

Needed Qualifications and Experience
- At least a bachelor’s degree and a level two CA certification from a well-known school.
- At least two years’ worth of work experience in a similar position.
- Know how to use Microsoft Word and Excel well.
