Ipsos In Ghana Calls for Job Applications

We are searching for a Quality Control (QC) Manager who will ensure that the business meets all Quality Control targets and initiatives on all research projects. The QC manager is in charge of consistently achieving the highest level of quality in project execution and related responsibilities. In addition to ensuring constant quality, he or she contributes to project compliance and recommends modifications as needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • QC Resource Planning, Engagement, and Monitoring
  • Attends all critical project and update meetings.
  • Budget planning and management entails supplying costs, assessing team productivity, charging for services, and more.
  • Manages QC staff for growth and efficiency, including project management, career planning, and training, among others.
  • Quality evaluation include reviewing and confirming the team’s operational actions, identifying problems, and making corrections.
  • Serves as a catalyst for change and development in quality and team performance.
  • Ensures careful quality management to eliminate waste and boost efficiency.
  • Determines training needs for the QC team.
  • Establish, execute, and monitor quality control methods and procedures for pre-field, in-field, and post-field.
  • Maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance throughout the quality assurance process.
  • Ensure the preparation of QC/SR. Monthly issues. Report, review, and approve QC technical reports for all projects.
  • Collaborates with the F2F and Senior Research teams to ensure projects are delivered according to requirements and schedules.
  • Supervises the quality control functions/activities on all projects, including QC schedules and records.
  • Measures performance and identifies faults, advising and making improvements.
  • Collect and submit monthly KPI reports across projects. Communicate issues for fast resolution.
  • Ensures that teams comply to Quality Control and IGQS specifications and standards.
  • Ensure the cost-effective and efficient operation of the QC Department.
  • Collaborate with the Field team to prevent and identify difficulties on the field.
  • Launch and monitor quality control actions for all fieldwork undertaken by Ipsos.
  • Manage infield, in-office, and data forensics QC: Support Operations Manager with creative initiatives, automation, and resilient data gathering methods.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Relevant Completed First Degree from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the operational aspects of market research and quality control, preferably in full-time managerial positions
  • Good English, both vocal and written
  • Computer skills and practical knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Various interview procedures and techniques—including outdoor, CATI, and qualitative
  • Knowledge and competence in quality control and interviewer training.
  • 5+ years of experience working on a variety of research projects at the field or quality control levels.
  • More than three years of supervising experience
  • Hands-on familiarity with analytical tools (ideally Excel and SPSS)
  • Knowledge and expertise in all research sampling procedures.
  • People management and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent communication abilities, both vocal and written
  • Cost control and budgeting skills
  • Experienced in research and operations, including trend and comparison analysis using KPIs.
  • Experienced in creating automatic or dashboard reports.
  • Experienced with costing and budget rationalisation
  • Decisive in nature, with good commercial acumen.
  • Practical experience in field research methodology.
  • Practical experience with field data quality assurance and process compliance.
