Government of Ireland 2023 Scholarships For International Students
Up to 60 Government of Ireland (GOI) International Education Scholarships will be available through the Department of Education and Skills Higher Education Authority to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD-level programs.
High-caliber students from non-EU/EEA nations who want to study full-time in Ireland for a year are the only ones eligible for funding. Typically, applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate higher-level English competence than that required by the university.
At the federal level of government, the HEA is mandated to oversee the efficient administration and control of academic institutions and the higher education system.
Why should you submit a program application?
Finance plays a significant role in supporting higher education, as is well known. Everyone considering pursuing further education is given financial assistance by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) of Ireland in the form of grants or scholarships.
Scholarships are available to pursue programs the bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
- Scholarship Award: Full fee waiver of all tuition and other registration fees at the higher education institution, as well as a stipend of €10,000 for one year of study.
- Awards: There are sixty (60) scholarships available.
- Student nationality: Non-EU/EEA nations
- You can apply for scholarships in Ireland.
- Students who are citizens of non-EU/EEA nations are eligible to apply for this award.
- The scholarship will be awarded in any subject that the university offers as an eligible course or subject.
2023 BAYER FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP (UP TO €10,000)
SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE
The scholarship will cover everything listed below:
- The Government of Ireland will provide funding for a total of 60 scholarships during the academic year 2023-2024.
- Those who are chosen will receive a stipend of €10,000 for a year of study in addition to a full waiver of all tuition and other fees at the higher education institution.
- The sum will be paid in two installments of €5,000, with each payment going to the selected applicant’s home higher education institution (HEI).
- The award will pay for the student’s tuition and living expenses. The award could go to:
- the last year of a bachelor’s degree program
- one year of a master’s program that is taught
- A research program’s first year (or the first year of a two-year
- a 3–4 year Ph.D. program or a research master’s)

Requirements
The following requirements must be met by candidates in order to be considered:
- The final year of an undergraduate program, the first year of a taught master’s program or the first year of a research program are the requirements for enrollment.
- You will be pleased to learn that there are even more distinctive and specialized options available for you if you choose to study in Ireland.
- You can work in marketing, human resources, consulting, sales, or procurement after completing your higher education, among other fields.

Entry requirements:
According to the entrance requirements of the appropriate Higher Education Institute (HEI) (see Appendix 1), applicants must submit an application for admission to the applicable undergraduate, master’s, or doctorate program.
