Awards for Fellowships

Candidates can participate in fellowships for two weeks to six months and receive up to €10,000 in funding. Individuals studying in Germany are required to complete internships in another nation, and those studying abroad are required to complete their fellowships at a German research center.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates for the Otto Bayer Fellowships for Drug Discovery Sciences must be enrolled in graduate-level coursework toward an MSc or Ph.D. (or an equivalent degree) in a natural scientific, pharmacy, or data science field. Postdoctoral researchers and undergraduate students are not eligible.
1 . Agricultural Sciences Jeff Schell Fellowships:
Candidates must be enrolled in natural science or data science programs leading to an MSc, Ph.D., or equivalent degree. Postdoctoral researchers and undergraduate students are not eligible.
2 . Carl Duisberg Medical Science Fellowships:
For an MSc or Ph.D. (or equivalent) in medical engineering, applied medical sciences, public health, or data science in medicine, candidates must be enrolled in a program in human or veterinary medicine. Postdoctoral researchers in medical engineering, applied medical science, public health, and data science in medicine, as well as undergraduate students, are not permitted.
