    GREAT scholarships: University of Kent 2023 SCHOLARSHIP Opportunities

    For the 2023–2024 school year, the University of Kent is giving out nine GREAT Scholarships, each worth £10,000.

    There are six scholarships available for students from the following countries seeking a taught master’s degree:

    • China (one scholarship) (one scholarship)
    • Ghana (one scholarship)
    • Kenya (one scholarship) (one scholarship)
    • (One scholarship) Malaysia
    • Pakistan (one scholarship) (one scholarship)
    • Thailand (one scholarship) (one scholarship)

    Two master’s degrees related to climate change will be paid for in the following countries:

    • India (one scholarship) (one scholarship)
    • Pakistan (one scholarship) (one scholarship)

    One scholarship is for a master’s program in justice and law for the country listed below:

    People know Kent’s School of Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science for its innovative teaching and excellent research. We are one of only three UK universities that offer exemptions from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ Core Technical, Core Applications, and Specialist Technical professional exams. In addition, our Master’s programs in statistics are accredited by the Royal Statistical Society.

    • Biosciences School

    Biosciences offers undergraduate degrees in biology, biochemistry, and biomedical science. They teach well and do research on the cutting edge. We scored 100% in the Research Excellence Framework of 2021, putting our research in the ‘world leading’ and ‘internationally excellent’ categories.

    Our degrees are accredited by the Royal Society of Biology. Students have access to first-class facilities with an impressive range of equipment.
