Scholarships are important for Americans studying abroad. One $5,000 bachelor’s degree scholarship will help you pay for school and prepare for your next big adventure.

This $5,000 bachelor’s degree grant will be given to students starting their studies in the fall of 2023 or later. It is open to students from any nation who will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a college or university in the United States while studying abroad.

Eligibility

To submit a scholarship application:

• You need to have submitted an application to a college or institution in the USA or plan to do so.
• Starting in the fall of 2023, you must have applied for (or plan to apply for) a bachelor’s degree.
• The degree program must be taken at a university in the United States, either on campus or online through distance learning.
• You must fulfill the prerequisites for admission to the college or university, which include:

• having a current high school transcript (or equivalent)
• the program’s linguistic requirements, if any, are met
• You must possess the necessary study visa or be qualified to apply for one (if applicable).
• Unless you are already studying overseas, you cannot be a citizen of the United States or be a resident of the country.

• Notification of finalists: 3–14 October 2022
• 24-28 October 2022: The winner announced
• Fall 2022 semester: The scholarship was reimbursed

Important Dates for Bachelor’s Studies in the USA 2023 Fellowship

• Application deadline: August 31, 2022
• Deadline for submissions: June 30, 2023, 12:00 CEST
• Finalists are notified between July 15 and August 11, 2023.
• 21–25 August 2023: Announcement of the winner
• Fall 2023 semester was when the award was paid out.

Application Specifications

Interested in applying for one of our yearly scholarships to study in the USA but unsure how to do it?

You must submit your finished application by June 30, 2023, at 12:00 CEST in order to be taken into consideration.

The application includes:

• Completing a brief form
• Submitting a brief essay (400–500 words) explaining why you decided to study abroad in the USA and how doing so will help you build your future.

Please note that only English-language applications will be accepted. Other language applications won’t be taken into consideration.

If you are chosen as a finalist, you will need to submit:

• A copy of your admission letter serves as proof of acceptance into an American university.
• Proof of your high school diploma (or equivalent) in the form of a transcript is required.
• A copy of your passport as identification

It is crucial that all document copies be color scans. In the event that you are chosen as a finalist, kindly have these documents on hand. You will have seven days to provide us with these documents after we notify you that you are a finalist.

• If you are chosen as our winner, you must: Let us know that you want to accept our scholarship no later than three days after being notified.
