Farm Supervisor at Matrix Innovation Limited
Responsibilities:
- Check the crop and field to see how old it is, how much it will produce, and what work needs to be done, like planting, weeding, or harvesting;
- Be in charge of and help fix machines and equipment used on farms, as well as make sure they work right;
- Help and oversee the day-to-day activities of general farm workers;
- Evaluate, suggest, and help put into place work procedures that are good for the business;
- Oversee the sorting and overall handling of products to make sure they are of the highest quality;
- Make sure all health and safety rules are followed by all workers at all times;
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other farm workers and laborers and keep an eye on things like crop maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or HND in agricultural engineering or a related field;
- Ability to work long hours, early mornings, and weekends if needed;
- Ability to speak English.
- Must have at least one year of experience as a farm supervisor or training in agriculture;
- Must be able to work outside in ANY weather. There will be a lot of lifting.
