The Sales Representative’s job is to show possible customers our products and services, figure out what kinds of people buy them, and suggest ways to market and sell our products.
In the end, this will help us get more customers and build a good name in our assigned area by focusing on UPL goals.
Responsibilities
Commercial
- Manage your ties with retailers and distributors.
- Deliver expected growth in line with sales goals.
- Set goals for each vendor and keep track of payments.
Forecasting
- Maintain forecasts by customer and keep track of how accurate the forecasts are
- Alignment of area between the forecast and budget
Marketing
- Putting in place the agreed-upon marketing plans
- Marketing Intelligence (Interact with distributors, agents and farmers, getting information about competition and market)
People
- Manage your relationships with sales reps from distributors.
Sales
- Quarterly and annually, give an analysis of sales by territory and keep track of how sales compare to the budget.
- Strategy for sales and distribution in the area
- Distributor Stock Management
Technical
- Find high-value product or label gaps in the market and help make business cases for growth.
- Technical support (technical training for distributor agents, agent/farm visits, field trips, and farmer days).
- Take care of concerns and communicate with the Technical Department.
Profile
5 years of experience in marketing, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or agriculture, and work in the fields of agrochemical sales, nature conservation, horticultural sales, technical sales, marketing, government contracts, and city tenders.
