ROLE: Software Sales Representative
Sumundi enables retail companies, which are the backbone of the African economy. Our one-stop retail management platform, among other things, enables efficient inventory management, remote monitoring of sales and business transactions, expansion to new locations, digital payments, SMS communication, multichannel sales, and financial solutions.
About the Position:
As a Software Sales Representative at Sumundi Keepsales, you will be at the helm of our company’s expansion. You will collaborate directly with our customers to understand their needs, effectively deliver our software solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process from start to finish.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Recognize the wants and requirements of your customers.
- Demonstrate and explain the capabilities and benefits of our software solutions.
- Create, nurture, and sustain positive company and customer connections.
- Contact potential customers by cold calling, email, and other successful avenues.
- Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes
- Coordination of sales activities with team members and other departments is required.
- Keep up to date on best practices and industry developments.
Qualifications
Important Requirements:
- Work experience as a Sales Representative in the software business is required.
- Excellent MS Office expertise
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented sales professional with a solid track record
- Excellent sales, communication, and negotiating abilities
- Prioritization, time management, and organizing abilities are required.
- Ability to operate both individually and collaboratively
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a similar profession would be advantageous.
