Job Title: Marketing Analyst 

Around the world, 2 billion adults don’t have a bank account. That’s close to 40% of all the adults in the world. In Sub-Saharan Africa, 350 million of them live. They are young adults who work hard and have connections, but they don’t have access to the traditional banking system. Fido is about to change that. We’re giving people and business owners the tools they need to take advantage of opportunities in Africa.

Fido Score, the company’s newest idea, will give power back to the people by letting them build and keep track of a digital financial track record.

We use a magical mix of real-time mission-critical machine-learning models, behavioral psychology, and financial engineering to power the consumer products we make. We believe in data, act quickly, make commitments, and promote meritocracy.

Here’s what you’ll do:

As a Fido Marketing Analyst, it will be your job to collect and analyze data to help the marketing department plan and run campaigns and strategies. You will work closely with the marketing team, the data team, and the product team to find and analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, competition, and the performance of campaigns. This will help Fido reach its growth goals.

  • Collect, analyze, and make sense of data to guide marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Find patterns in the way our target audiences act and give us insights that we can use.
  • Watch how the market is changing and what your competitors are doing to spot opportunities and threats.
  • Make reports and presentations for internal stakeholders with the help of data.
  • Work with the marketing team and the data team to figure out who the target audience is and how to divide them up.
  • Track and measure how well marketing campaigns are doing and make suggestions for how to improve them.
  • Work with teams from different departments to make sure data is correct and up-to-date.

Who you are:

  • Experience in fintech is a big plus, especially if you have 5 years or more in a similar job or as a senior data analyst in a business-to-consumer company.
  • A BSc in the exact sciences or a BA in economics is helpful, as is an MBA or MA in marketing or information management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing complex data, as well as experience with tools and software for data analysis (such as Advanced Excel, Google Sheets,
  • Tableau or similar BI tools, Google Analytics, and Appsflyer), It’s a plus if you know how to use CRM, marketing automation, and database tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques, marketing research, and research methods
  • Feel at ease working with teams from different fields, such as data, finance, and product.
  • You’ll be working in a busy, fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • For this job to go well, you need to be able to communicate well, solve problems, and pay close attention to details.
