Built is a financial technology company that helps small and medium-sized businesses manage their finances through a digital platform. The platform can be used for many different financial tasks, such as billing clients, accepting payments, processing payroll, and making reports in real-time.
Job Description
We are looking for a Chief of Staff with a lot of experience and good ideas to help our executive team and help our company grow. The successful candidate will be in charge of working with members of the executive team to figure out and prioritize business strategies, making suggestions and giving advice to improve teamwork, and overseeing strategic business projects from the time they are first thought of until they are put into action.
Responsibilities:
- Work with members of the executive team to decide on and rank business strategies.
- Give suggestions and advice to department heads on how to improve teamwork.
- Plan, coordinate, and make sure the meeting stays on track.
- Find out what the key performance indicators are and how to measure how well the team is doing.
- Give ideas the help they need to be put into action.
- Work with leadership to meet goals, track progress, and share information.
- Watch over strategic business projects from the time they are first thought of until they are finished.
- Find the most important problems or opportunities in business processes and help solve them.
- Give the CEO and other top leaders information and analysis about how the company works.
- When making business decisions, think about the risks.
- Help out with special projects and initiatives and keep an eye on them.
- Plan meetings and workshops, coordinate them, and lead them.
- Find ways to improve the organization as a whole and suggest ways to do so.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as Chief of Staff or in a similar executive role in fintech, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong skills in analyzing and solving problems.
- Good at talking to people and getting along with them.
- Ability to work together with teams from different fields.
- Experience managing projects and keeping an eye on big ones.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle several tasks at once.
- Pays close attention to details and is good at keeping things in order.
