Job Title: Business Developer for Logistics
Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis.
- Conduct extensive market research to uncover developing trends, prospective clients, and growth possibilities in the logistics industry.
- Stay current on industry changes, competitor actions, and market dynamics.
2. Client Acquisition:
- Create and implement successful strategies to attract new clients and grow AbenGlobal’s customer base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the target industry.
3. Partnership Development:
- Identify and pursue strategic collaborations with suppliers, carriers, and technology providers to expand our service offerings.
- Negotiate and conclude collaboration agreements that match with AbenGlobal’s strategic goals.
4. Sales and revenue generation:
- Develop and implement sales programs to meet revenue and business objectives.
- Work with the sales team to facilitate deal closes and achieve sales targets.
5. Customer retention:
- Work closely with existing clients to understand their changing needs and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Take proactive steps to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial connections.
6. Strategic Plan:
- Collaborate with senior management to create and implement business growth plans that align with AbenGlobal’s overall objectives.
- Offer insights and ideas for improving service offerings and market positioning.
7. Reporting & Analysis:
- Create frequent reports on business development, sales performance, and market trends.
- Analyze data to discover opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, logistics, or another relevant subject.
- Demonstrated experience in business development for the logistics or supply chain industries.
- A thorough understanding of logistical operations and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain strategic connections.
- Goal-oriented with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other essential business tools.
- Be willing to travel as needed.
Location: Accra.
