Role Title: Rope Access Supervisors
Main Role
To help the Campaign Supervisor with all parts of managing and planning day-to-day Rigger/lifting activities on site, as needed for maintenance and Campaign works, in line with approved procedures and guidelines.
Planning and Getting On Track
- Work with the Campaign Supervisor to plan, prepare, and schedule maintenance and Campaign tasks, making sure that the required level of equipment integrity, reliability, and safety is met.
- Follow the policies, guidelines, and operating procedures when putting operational objectives, goals, and plans into action.
- Find chances and projects that will allow the most production to be made while still respecting the environment and keeping the process safe.
- Give the Campaign Supervisor regular reports on performance and results, and hold him accountable for his area of duty.
Operational
- Plan and carry out Rigging/Lifting tasks for maintenance and Campaign work on site, both day-to-day and in the future, according to approved processes and guidelines.
- Make plans for lifting and rigging that meet company and foreign standards.
- Make sure that the right equipment and supplies for current and future tasks are available according to the color code standards.
- Do risk estimates for your job before starting tasks. Rigging/Lifting plans must be finished before work can begin.
- Help Campaign Supervisors figure out how long activities will take and how much stuff they will need.
- Keep a daily record of progress (a “daily diary”), noting any special comments and recording the number of man-hours spent on each relevant task.
- Make sure that all of the tools, supplies, and equipment are kept in good shape.
- Take part in planning shutdown tasks for this field and overseeing how they are done.
- Get work permits, update them, and fill them out, then give them to the different work teams.
- Regularly adds new jobs to the master layout platform plan in CCR
People Management
- Give your direct reports direction and leadership as they do their jobs, and push them to think creatively about process safety and production optimization.
- Make sure that everyone you supervise has the right training and skills to do their jobs, according to the Training Matrix. Help build a learning environment.
- Do regular training on the job to make sure that information is passed on.
- Uphold and show how to act as a leader according to the company’s standards.
Other
- Communicate with and coordinate with remote functions on a daily basis about key business issues in the area of work.
- Take charge of your own growth by staying up to date on the latest developments, knowledge, and innovations in your area of expertise.
Skills testing: Safety English Test (SET)-level English before mobilization. Kochi trade/skills examinations before offer.
