ROLE: Trips and Visits Specialist III
Responsibilities
- Keeps a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a continuous witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a gracious, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people both inside and outside of Compassion, and faithfully prays for Compassion’s ministry.
- Serves as a kid advocate. Recognizes and promotes Christ’s mission to safeguard children. Raises awareness of children’s needs and takes active actions to safeguard children from neglect, abuse, and exploitation. Promotes children’s dignity, respect, positive treatment, and potential in all circumstances. Encourages people to join in assisting youngsters in need. If an episode of child harm occurs, it is reported and adequately supported.
- Collaborates with marketing specialists to provide firsthand experience and exposure to Compassion’s main ministry programs for vision trips, sponsors, and contributors, with the goal of increasing involvement and child sponsorship.
- Plans tours and visits for vision trips, sponsors, and donors in collaboration with the partnership team and church partners. Collaborates with Partnership Facilitators and
- Training teams to strengthen Partnership capacity/skill building and projects to improve the quality of project tours and visits.
- Translators are chosen and recruited for service trip groups as they connect with church partners, sponsored children, and other essential stakeholders. Trains and compensates these translators.
- Exhibits a high level of discretion and independent judgment in order to protect both Compassion’s interests and the lives and property of participants to the greatest extent possible. Assesses and mitigates potential risks for all tour participants visiting the region.
- Uses external resources to become an expert on travel security in the area.
Plan logistics for marketing-related groups, such as lodging, in-country transportation, and shopping visit presents. - Provides knowledge about Compassion programs and trip outcomes. Contributes to the tour objectives’ money-producing goals. Collaborates with key stakeholders to guarantee the quality and effectiveness of field exposure trips.
- Collaborates to ensure that all trip demands are met and that the trip experience is exceptional.

Education
Bachelor of Science A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
Experience
Seven years of experience in this or a related profession or subject.
