Ghana News Agency (GNA) is looking for professionals who are qualified, goal-oriented, skilled, and energetic to fill an open position. Chief Driver 

POSITION: Chief Driver

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive managers and employees to and from work, as well as on other official business.
• Drive the vehicles given to you to complete official tasks that help the Company run.
• Report problems with assigned vehicles so they can be fixed or serviced.
• Help with vehicle accident investigations when necessary.
• Take action to renew the vehicles’ insurance and make sure they are safe to drive.
• Take care of the vehicles as needed.
• Follow all rules and regulations regarding the way the assigned vehicle is driven (s).
• Make oral reports about job duties and give them.
• Do any other tasks that your superior officers give you.

Needed Qualifications and Experience

• You must be a professional driver with at least five (5) years of work experience and a professional driver’s license. Also, you must have a valid Professional Driving License and at least an HND Auto Mechanic Certificate or a certificate from a technical school, such as an NVTI Driver Mechanic Grade I (proficiency) certificate.
• Good knowledge and understanding of how to maintain and service a car on a regular basis.
• Know and understand the rules about the DVLA, insurance, road safety, and other things.
• Close attention to details.
• Be able to talk to people (oral and written).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Healthy in body and mind.
• Know how to use a computer.
