Senior Accountant Needed for Immediate Employment
A company is looking for a suitably qualified person for the position of Senior Accountant.
JOB TITLE: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Firstly, AS a Senior Accountant, S/he will be responsible for the overall functions of the Accounts Unit to ensure that timely and proper records are kept.
- Secondly, Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Thirdly, Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Moreover, Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Additionally, Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Then, Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Also, Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- More so, Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Afterwards, Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
- Finally, Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
QUALIFICATION:
1st Degree in Accounting or Banking & Finance is a pre-requisite ACCA/ICA II or related Professional Qualification would be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
Five years of experience with exposure to all areas under control.
