• This program is designed for students commencing their PhD studies. PhD students are permitted, to a limited degree, to have conducted exploratory research. At the commencement of the fellowship (1/10/2025), a minimum of 36 months of doctoral research must remain to fulfill the PhD requirements;
• Ghent University aims to promote increased applications from female researchers for this award. A supervisor at Ghent University may support a maximum of two candidates every call, provided they are of different genders. The postal communication must pertain to the scholarship’s aims.
