The Mahoney Family Foundation is happy to say that scholarships are now available to help inspire and support nurses and teachers who work hard. The winners of these scholarships can use the money to improve their skills, move up in their careers, and make a bigger difference in their areas through professional development and continuing education.

The Foundation wants to improve patient care, student outcomes, and the health of the community as a whole by investing in the growth of these important workers.

About The Mahoney Family Foundation:

Through scholarship programs, the Mahoney Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) group that helps people in the nursing and teaching fields continue their education.

By giving this money, the Foundation hopes to improve the quality of life in the areas it supports.

Larry and Sandy Mahoney started the organization in 2017 to honor our Nurses and Teachers for all the hard work they do.

The Foundation gives scholarships to workers who deserve them every year. We are giving grants of up to $5,000 each to help our nurses and teachers pay for the Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or advanced degrees they need.

Larry and Sandy started the Foundation so that talented professionals could get more schooling so they could follow their dream of helping other people.

Putting money into the schooling of teachers and healthcare workers guarantees that future generations will get good care and education.

• The Mahonay Family Foundation Scholarship 2024-2025 in the US is for people who want to go to graduate school in the US.

The Mahonay Family Foundation Scholarship benefits:

Details of the scholarship award:

• Students will be able to get scholarships three times a year, in the spring, summer, and fall semesters. The money will go straight to the school or organization offering the education or training.
• You can only get a scholarship for one semester at a time, but you can try again for more semesters.
• People who apply for awards will have to give their full social security numbers and give us permission to post their names on our website.

Nationalities that can apply for The Mahonay Family Foundation Scholarship:

• To be eligible for this grant, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

To be eligible for The Mahonay Family Foundation Scholarship, you must:

Must be an applicant;

• Experienced teacher or qualified nurse who works full-time and has a license.
• Currently enrolled in a college or university and taking classes as planned.

How to Apply for the Mahonay Family Foundation Scholarship:

1. Fill out the online application and send it in:

• Go to our online application page and fill out the form there. It won’t take long!

2. Get supporting documents and send them in:

• Plan for Professional Development: We need a clear plan that shows how you want to improve your career. Explain how the suggested course will help you reach these goals at work or in your job as a whole. Make sure to include details about the exact course or seminar and the company that is offering the training.

Verification of enrollment and course details: Please send these three documents:

• Enrollment Verification: This document from your school or group proves that you are currently a student.
• Class List: Tell us what classes you’re going to be taking this term.
• Itemized Tuition Statement: We need a detailed list of all the fees you’ll have to pay for school from the school or group itself. A rough cost estimate from the school’s website won’t do.

Letter of Support (No More Than One Page):

• They need a letter of support from your principal or supervisor on official school or medical center stationery. This letter needs to:

Check your job title, employment position, and length of service.

• Tell your boss that you’re in favor of your professional growth plan and how it will help you.

3. Getting Your Papers Sent:

• Email all of these things to Sandra.Mahoney@TheMahoneyFamilyFoundation.org as a scanned PDF: Professional Development Plan, Enrollment Verification, Class Schedule, Tuition Statement, and Letter of Support.

Giving out scholarships and renewing them:

• You can get a scholarship three times a year, in the spring, summer, and fall. We send the scholarship money straight to the school or group that is teaching you.

Notes that are important:

• Each scholarship is good for one term. You can, however, apply again for more classes if you need to.
• If you are picked, you will have to give us your full Social Security number and agree that your name can be posted on our website.

Due dates for submissions:

• When is the fall semester? August 1, 2024
• The spring semester starts on December 15, 2024.
