Essential Information

In order to qualify for an International Merit Scholarship at ETSU, students must meet the following criteria: they must be accepted as degree-seeking students, have or intend to get an F-1 or J-1 student visa, and have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or above in their previous academic work. Duration of Scholarship:

Merit Scholarships are granted to undergraduate students for a maximum duration of eight semesters, which is equivalent to four years. However, the continuation of these scholarships is contingent upon the fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria.

  • Please be aware that Fulbright Grants are regarded as independent funding and might be coupled with this Merit Scholarship.
