• Proficiency test (such as TOEFL or IELTS), a Letter of Recommendation from two referees, an Endorsement form, an Admission offer letter from Malaysian Universities (if applicable), a Curriculum Vitae (CV), and a Medical examination form.

Requirements for eligibility:

To be eligible for the Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship, you must satisfy the following criteria:

• Applicants must be under the age of 45 when they apply.
• Applicants for the Master’s Degree Program must possess a minimum of a Second Class Upper (Honours) degree or an undergraduate degree with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.5.
• Evidence of your proficiency in spoken and written English:

• Proof of proficient English language skills, such as achieving a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, a TOEFL paper test score of 500, or an internet-based TOEFL test score of 70;
• Applicants pursuing degrees in programs that utilize English as the primary language of instruction may also be considered for acceptance, provided they can provide evidence of their proficiency.

• Possesses a medical certificate affirming their excellent physical condition. The applicant is obligated to cover the cost of the physical examination.
• Scholars are required to attend selected higher education institutions on a full-time basis in order to pursue graduate studies (please refer to the List of Universities).
• Individuals who have received acceptance letters from Malaysian universities but have not yet commenced their studies, or those who have only enrolled for one semester of a Master’s degree program, are eligible to apply.
