POSITION: HR/ ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
JOB PURPOSE
- The HR Assistant is required to be a conceptual thinker with strong organizational and time management abilities. He or she must be dependable and able to follow directions precisely, as well as multitask and adapt to a fast-paced atmosphere.
- To be successful, the HR Assistant must have exceptional dispute resolution and decision-making abilities, as well as a thorough awareness of employee relations, staffing management, payroll, and benefits administration. He or she must be exceptional in problem-solving, efficient in scheduling, and exact in the recruitment process.
- The position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
HR Assistants’ Responsibilities
- Post job postings and organize resumes and applications.
- Schedule employment interviews and aid with the interview process.
- Assess applicants’ abilities by delivering and scoring tests.
- Ensure the police background and reference checks are done.
- Prepare new employee files.
- Participate in administrative duties and office supply disbursement.
- Orient new employees to the organization (establishing a specific log-in, workstation, email account, etc.).
- Serve as a contact point for all new employee questions.
- Provide payroll information by collecting time and attendance records, and rectify any payroll issues.
- Submits employee data reports by gathering, compiling, and evaluating data.
- Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change information.
- assist with performance management techniques.
- Plan meetings, interviews, and HR activities, and keep agendas.
- Provide secretarial help by entering, formatting, and printing data.
- Coordinate training sessions and lectures with other team members.
- Maintains employee trust and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
- Create and submit reports on general HR activities.
- Maintain quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
- Arrange residency permits and organize trip plans for expatriates (hotel, transportation, visas, and charges).
- Complete the termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Keep up with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Required Skill or Experience
- BSc/BA in human resources, business administration, or related fields from a recognized university.
- A thorough understanding of human resource management principles and best practices
- Expertise in data analysis and reporting, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated and firm, with high ethical standards.
- A minimum of three years of relevant job experience.
- Capable of adapting quickly to changes and focusing on outcomes.
- I am able to think creatively and innovatively.
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
