University of Miami Stamps Scholarship – Study in USA

The University of Miami is currently accepting applications from individuals who are interested in and meet the requirements for the University of Miami Stamps Scholarship. All first-year students at the university are eligible for consideration for this award.

The Stamps Scholarship is widely regarded as the most distinguished form of financial assistance for academic achievement that can be obtained by University of Miami students. This award is presented to graduating high school seniors who have distinguished themselves academically as well as in other aspects of their lives.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below in order to be considered for the Stamps Scholarship at the University of Miami, which is fully funded:

  • Applicants must be International students
  • Applicants need to sign up for a full-time degree program.
  • Candidates must possess a high school diploma.
  • The student must maintain a 3.0 GPA during the school year.
  • Applicants must provide documentation proving their English language competency.
  • Applicants must finish a full-time undergraduate program of study with a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year, including at least 12 credits in each of the autumn and spring semesters.

Application Process

How-to-Apply:

The Common Application must be completed and submitted by applicants in order to be considered for this scholarship. You must pay a $70 non-refundable application fee before submitting.

You will be required to submit an extra essay of 250 words if you are applying for Spring or Fall 2024.

  • Please explain how your particular experiences, obstacles, or abilities developed would enhance our unique university community.
  • In addition, students must write a personal statement of no more than 650 words in which they reply to one of seven prompts.
  • You have the chance to show that you have the capacity to articulate your ideas clearly and succinctly while maintaining your individual voice in these sections of the Common Application. List all extracurricular activities you are involved in; these will be considered during the admissions process.

2 . Send Official High School Transcripts

Send your official high school transcripts straight from your high school if you completed your high school education in the US. They can be electronically submitted through Parchment, SCOIR, Slate.org, or the Common Application by a school representative. They can also be sent to mydocuments@miami.edu directly by a representative of your school.

3 . Submitting Test Scores

For students applying for admission to the Spring or Fall 2024 term, there has been no announcement of a change to the current test-optional policy. Students who elect to submit their ACT or SAT results may:

  • Initially, request that the testing organization send the University their official results. self-report their Common Application scores. You won’t need to recalculate your points or Superscore your own results.
  • Afterward, your scores should be entered exactly as you receive them. Only if they are accepted and decide to enroll will self-reporting students need to submit official score reports.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS), the TOEFL, or Duolingo-approved test scores must be submitted by all students whose first language is not English. Visit the English Proficiency Requirements page for more on scores. Candidates for architecture who do not submit test results must instead submit a portfolio. The evaluation process includes an audition for every music applicant.

  • Even after submitting your application, you can still change your mind about whether test results should be considered.
  • In order to amend their paperwork, applicants will have an additional 15 days after the deadline for their chosen admission plan.

Examples of test-specific modifications that applicants can make are as follows:

  •  Secondly, Applicants must fill out the Test Score Updates form in the Applicant Portal to make these and other modifications.
  • Thirdly, apply by the deadline indicated on your application: November 1 for Early Decision I and Early Action, or January 1 for Early Decision II and Regular Decision.
