Job Title: RPAS (Drone) Pilot
A large group in the agricultural industry is looking for experienced RPAS (Drone) Pilots to spray crops on a plantation in Ghana. Most of the time, the RPAS (drones) will be flown at night, and the rules will be followed.
Responsibilities
- Do a pre-flight checklist, safety/risk assessment, and mission planning.
- Fill out RPAS flight accounting according to Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) rules. • Check the weather forecast to make sure flights are safe.
- Test, fix, and maintain equipment.
- It’s very important that operators know the company’s rules and can work in a safe and effective way.
Needed Qualifications and Experience
The holder must have the following qualifications and skills:
- Must have a valid GCAA RPAS license with at least 6 months of experience.
- Must be comfortable flying an RPAS in different weather and light conditions.
- Must be able to solve problems and do more than one thing at a time.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Must be able to communicate well.
- Must be willing to move outside of Accra.
