POSITION: Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing

Principal Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive public relations campaigns and strategies to improve the organization’s reputation;
• Manage media engagement, press releases, and the creation of communication materials;
• Establish and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers; and
• Manage issues, crisis communication, and response effectively.
• Lead a team of public relations and corporate communication professionals in the department
• Develop and implement corporate communication strategies
• Manage internal communications, ensuring employees are informed and engaged
• Write and edit speeches and talking points for various stakeholders
• Oversee communication channels, including the company website and social media platforms
• Manage internal and external company events;
• Direct digital marketing, advertising, and promotional activities; and
• Create and implement media relations strategy to ensure favorable coverage.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• 5 years of management experience
• Proven experience managing diverse teams across a large organization
• Strong issue and crisis management experience
• Practical experience in writing and editing
• Experience in customer relations management
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Accredited member of IPR, Ghana
