POSITION: Health and Safety Supervisor
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Health and Safety Supervisor in Accra. The Health and Safety Supervisor will be in charge of ensuring that health and safety requirements are followed, conducting risk assessments and audits, designing safety processes and protocols, and providing staff with health and safety training. In addition, the Health and Safety Supervisor shall keep accurate and up-to-date safety records and reports.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about local health and safety legislation and requirements
- Experience creating safety policies and processes Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits
- Experience in offering employee health and safety training
- Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to operate both individually and collaboratively
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or IOSH is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or a related discipline
