HEALTH & SAFETY SUPERVISOR
1. Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to amd are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
2. Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting
3. Ensure the completion and regular reviewed of risk assessment for all work equipment and operations
4. Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvement implemented
5. Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities
6. Co-ordinate the development of health and safety policies, systems of work and procedures
7. Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained
8. Establish a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree/diploma/IOSH/NEBOSH general certificate in Health/Safety & Environmental Management or relevant equipment with experience. Knowledge of rack safety, operational safety control programme with strong quantitative background
