Idaho State University is thrilled to announce the availability of nonresident tuition waivers (NRTWs) for foreign students wishing to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees in the US. This program, headed by the International Program Office, is a big step toward the university’s goal of promoting academic excellence and worldwide diversity.

One of the nation’s most extensive universities was established in 1901 and is called Idaho State University. One of the six US colleges that offer programs ranging from graduate and professional degrees to technical certificates is Idaho State. • Coverage: Tuition for nonresidents is paid for by NRTWs.

Get Ready If the waiver is denied, applicants should be ready to pay almost $14,000 a semester. Idaho State University emphasizes the importance of having a sound financial plan when seeking an education.

Nationalities That Qualify:

Students from abroad (not U.S. residents)

Qualifications:

• The initial assessment or consideration, requires a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Extra requirements: Particular to NRTW availability
• Exclusions: Pupils enrolled in non-traditional pharmacy programs and other programs with high enrollment

Note: Participation in NRTW programs does not contribute toward residency requirements in Idaho.

How to Apply:

• Step 1: Submit an application for admission by July 1st for fall admission or November 1st for spring admission, along with transcripts and results from the TOEFL or IELTS.
• Step 2: If applicable, finish the Honors Application.
• Step 3: Use the Bengal Online Scholarship System (BOSS) to apply for more scholarships. Applications are available in January for fall admission and in October for spring admission.
