Study In Netherlands: Dutch Ministry NL Scholarship
The Dutch Ministry of Education’s NL Scholarship is an excellent means of obtaining an education that promotes achievement, diversity, and international collaboration. With this award, individuals who wish to attend college in the Netherlands can experience something truly transformative, beyond just achieving academic success.
This scholarship is intended for international students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands but are not citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA). It was once known as the Holland Scholarship. The NL Scholarship 2024 will cover their educational expenses. There is a grant of €5,000 available. You will become familiar with this during your first year of education.
The NL Scholarship is available at numerous universities throughout the Netherlands. You must first be accepted into the university. Guidelines for behavior
Programs overseen by Nuffic or Nuffic itself may not engage in any activities that involve inappropriate behavior. It may involve money misbehavior, power abuses, or interpersonal transgressions. An Integrity Code of Conduct is in place at Nuffic to address inappropriate behavior. Activities containing the following circumstances or actions are also deemed inappropriate:
- procedures related to bankruptcy, insolvency, or wound-up
- failure to comply with tax or social security contribution responsibilities;
- behavior associated with a criminal organization;
- sponsorship of terrorism or money laundering;
- terrorist offenses or offenses connected to acts of terrorism;
- irregularity
- establishing a dummy business;
- acting as a charade.

Also, we outline the conduct that is required of each of us, as well as those who manage specific NL Scholarships, in terms of professionalism and ethics.
HOW TO APPLY?
- This grant is not available to residents of the EEA.
- You must apply to a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program at a participating Dutch institution or university to be eligible for the NL Scholarship.
- You must fulfill the prerequisites to get admitted to the college or institution.
- You can apply for the other scholarships concurrently with the NL Scholarship.

The NL Scholarship has no deadline. Depending on which school you are applying to, the deadline varies.
