Solution Engineer at AmaliTech
Job Description
We need an experienced Solution Engineer to join our International Team and help us make software from scratch for one of Deutsche Telekom Group’s biggest and most important projects.
If you join our team, you will have an effect on our 30 million customers, who will use our product to request Fiber network to their homes and track our progress as we build it. Our product is a set of apps and websites that help with end-to-end processes in areas like fiber pre-ordering, ordering, installation, service management, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and test the business needs at different levels (Initiatives, Epics, and User Stories).
- Focus clearly on customer needs, creating business value, and making sure the backlog is known and ready for development from the team’s point of view.
- Business requirements should be broken down into User Stories that are ready for development and have functional requirements that focus on the answer made on the Gigabit project.
- Capable of doing business research at a high level and enabling the Continuous Delivery Pipeline with the right User Stories.
- Explain how things work in Epics and User Stories.
- Experience with high-level business research and enabling the Continuous Delivery Pipeline with the right User Stories.
- Work with the Product Owner, ART’s Product Management, and System Engineering to make sure that the plans for User Stories are all in sync.
- Evaluate business models or requirements and incorporate them into technology solutions and chances to use technology (a “bridge” between business and technology).
- Collect software from internal developers and pay attention to the quality of the goods you make from a business perspective.
- Understand the project’s business and technology goals and work closely with the Product Owner, system designers, and DevOps team.
- Find the interface partners (systems and teams) that are part of putting the feature needs into action.
- Create interface agreements between systems to record interface patterns and data in collaboration with developers and the other system.
- Find out what the most important non-functional requirements (NFRs) are for the features that are being planned.
- Analyse and fix REST APls using mappings tables.
Qualifications
- Using UML notation (Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Use Cases), know how to turn research into diagrams that can be read.
- Experience using the Agile method and the Scrum structure to build software.
- Use written and spoken English with confidence. Gigabit is an international project, and English is the shared language for both speaking together and writing requirements.
- Experience with Enterprise Architect, Confluence, and Jira, among other tools.
- SQL, which stands for Structured Query Language, is a skill.
- Knowing and being able to use BPMN notation to make patterns.
- Experience designing business tools and being able to do system analysis and cross-systems analysis.
- Basic knowledge of microservice architecture and experience with analyzing microservices.
- Relational systems and PostgreSQL are things you should know.
- Know how the telecom industry works.
- TMF Open REST API Guidelines know-how
- At least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Solution designer in foreign projects
- It would be great to have
- Being able to speak and understand German
- Tools like Postman and Swagger, and how to use them.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
- Having knowledge of programming languages like Java or JavaScript (Angular) is a plus.
