Job Title: LOGISTICS OFFICER
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Logistics Officer is in charge of all last-minute transfers and pickups that the main transport unit can’t handle. The officer is in charge of making sure that the client’s items are delivered on time and that all supplies are accompanied by waybills and invoices. (where applicable). He has to go back with the signed copies of the waybills and make sure they are scanned and linked to the sales orders in ERP.
FUNCTIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up for third-party courier services to take care of all urgent supplies.
- Keep a list of the third-party courier services that have been allowed for future use.
- Whenever possible, talk about shipping costs with courier service providers.
- He or she is in charge of keeping the goods safe until they get to the client or office.
- He or she must make sure that the right client or office gets the right amount and type of product.
- Help with general warehouse and inventory management tasks. Any other tasks given to help the company reach its goals as a whole.
OHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- All of TAGG’s OHS&E processes must be known and followed.
- Follow all rules, procedures, and directions for safe work.

Skills or Experience Needed
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- HND in transportation, supply chain management, or procurement/buying
- At least two years of experience running services
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- How to talk to people
- Care for the Small Things
- How to Think Critically
- Skills for planning and organizing and for making deals
- IT skills
- Able to act on their own and meet goals
