Position: ACCOUNTS MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE
The person who gets the job will be responsible for keeping and growing the Organization’s income by getting and keeping business. He or she must keep buyers up to date on how business is going. The Sales Manager is in charge of the job.
ROLE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT
- Plans for promotion are watched over and judged.
- Finds, meets, and sets up new business by using effective methods.
- Creates marketing presentations and business-specific service-level agreements
- Keeps good working ties with customers and internal suppliers like the Sales Engineer.
- Provides account information to the Sales Manager so that they can make a sales plan and keep an eye on how it’s being carried out.
- Uses the right tools and measures to track progress against goals and take the right steps to make sure goals are met or surpassed.
- Offers data on sales success to help management make decisions.
Skills or Experience Needed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or a related field.
- At least three years of sales experience in the telecommunications business. Professional membership in a relevant professional body is a plus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Excellent ability to show and talk to people
- Strong planning skills and the ability to put things in order of importance.
- Have a lot of drive, confidence, and initiative, and be able to work well in a fast-paced workplace.
- Professional, adaptable, and focused on the team.
- Strong skills in analyzing and fixing problems.
