Newmont Mining Corporation Latest Job Opening

Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

Newmont Mining Corporation, is a major gold producer, with operations in Nevada, Peru, Australia, Ghana, and Suriname.

Newmont Africa Operations operates two gold mines in Ghana: the Ahafo Mine in Brong-Ahafo and the Akyem Mine in Eastern. Ghana’s near-mine exploration and development replace gold reserves annually. Newmont Africa conducts early-stage exploration programs in Ethiopia and Morocco.

The Ahafo Mine employs most of our 5,900 African workers and contractors. We provide unmatched career satisfaction and opportunity with worldwide business perks. This and our growth opportunities make Newmont a terrific place to work.

Our Akyem and Ahafo mines invested much in sustainable community development in our host communities. Each mine contributes US$1 per ounce of gold sold and 1% of its pre-tax annual earnings to its community development fund at Akyem and Ahafo.

Newmont was the first gold business to join the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index in 2007. Newmont’s Africa businesses are industry leaders in environmental management, worker health and safety, and providing value and opportunity for employees, host communities, and shareholders.
