POSITION: Financial & Regulatory Reporting Officer
JOB PURPOSEÂ
- Making sure we follow the right accounting rules (GAAP), legal rules, budget plans, and audit needs.
- Keep internal control measures in place and organize all audit tasks in the finance department.
- Reporting to the Ghana Free Zone Board, Ghana Revenue Authority, Togo Revenue Authority, Togo Free Zone Board, Nigeria Tax Authority, and others.
- Checking and other things.
Job Context
Give money help to eProcess and Ecobank to help them successfully carry out the company’s plans. Always give clear and helpful financial information that helps make eProcess and Ecobank look trustworthy and appealing to investors and important partners.
Main Duties
- Money and Business Management
- Make sure to write correct accounting entries for all bills from suppliers and for staff expenses.
- Making sure financial data is correct and trustworthy (Checking the accounts).
- Financial reports are given on time
- Make sure the bank reconciliation is done correctly and there are no unpaid items left.
- Keep the fixed assets files organized and current.
- Make a weekly cash flow report.
- Give timely feedback to your coworkers and other departments.
- Make sure to follow tax rules.
- Ensure that rules are followed and respected.
- Taking part in making financial processes better throughout the organization.
- Carry out and take part in any other tasks asked by the CFO of eProcess International.
- Reporting means sharing information or telling about something that happened.
- Monthly money report to Group Office.
- Quarterly report for the Ghana Free Zone Board.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred in Finance, Accounting, or a related area of study. A professional international accounting degree or something similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance. Understanding money management, keeping track of financial records, planning budgets, and controlling costs, including global rules for financial reporting and accounting.
