POSITION: Front Office Supervisor
Job Overview
Finish the assigned cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Check shift logs and daily notes, and write important information in the logbooks. Get in touch with the right person or team (like the Bellperson or Housekeeping) to help with a guest’s call, request, or issue.
Help guests check in by confirming their bookings on the computer, checking their ID, asking for payment, giving them a room, and providing them with a room key. Offer a room to guests who don’t have a reservation, depending on what is available. Make sure prices are in line with market rules, and write down any differences. Make sure that checks from places like the Health Club or Retail Shop are scanned and added to the room bill.
Key Responsibilities
- Help management by training, assessing, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Be a role model and the first person to talk to about the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
- Tell your manager about accidents, injuries, and any unsafe conditions at work. Also, make sure to finish safety training and certifications. Follow the company’s rules and guidelines.
- Make sure your uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Keep sensitive information private and take care of the company’s property.
- Welcome all guests and greet them as our company says to; look for and fulfill their needs; help people with disabilities; and thank guests sincerely.
- Talk to others using clear and polite words, and answer the phone in a respectful way.
- Build and keep good relationships with people.
- Make sure to follow quality rules and standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for a long time or for a whole work shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and put down things that weigh 25 pounds or less by yourself.
- Do other suitable tasks as asked by your supervisors.
Qualifications Required
- Education: High school diploma or G.ED (General Educational Development) certificate.
- Work Experience Needed: At least 1 year of similar work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of experience managing others
- License or Certification: No required licenses or certifications.
