POSITION: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Systems Administration Engineer who can help us run and design our program platform environment. This person would work in both Linux and Windows and have hands-on experience with implementing commercial software, systems administration, network systems, system security, and setting up private cloud environments using VMware
What You Will Do:
Under general supervision, assist with the computer and communication environment, which includes desktops, laptops, servers, network infrastructure, wireless, voice, and data communication technologies. Provide field technical support to end users and operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Install personal computers, telephones, networks, and peripherals following established procedures and processes.
- Configure, install, debug, and monitor communication devices such as switches, hubs, wireless devices, MESH networking components, voice systems, RF systems, and networking infrastructure (copper and fibre optic).
- Manage server and process control infrastructure, including virtual and physical servers and storage devices.
- Assist with project execution
- Participate in safety and environmental initiatives, maintain MIS policy compliance, and meet site operating goals.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Key Requirement
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and scheduled and unscheduled overtime as needed for business.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma.
- Requirements include four years of expertise in a computer or electronic system’s hardware or software diagnosis, maintenance, and repair, as well as one technical certification in a relevant subject for the post.
- Six years of expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing computer and electronic systems, including hardware and software.
This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which could include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). According to the proposal, incentives might be discretionary or non-discretionary.
