POSITION: Marketing Manager
ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
HD PLUS GHANA uses a business-to-consumer (B2C) model and key local distribution partners to reach its target end customers. It is currently looking for a Marketing Manager who will oversee all marketing operations for HD+ services.
Through continuous local brand management, this role raises the brand’s visibility and awareness. To do this, you will work closely with the Product, Sales, and Call Center teams in Ghana and other departments in Luxembourg.
Responsibilities
You will be in charge of (and this is not a full list):
- Marketing and brand management for HD+ in Ghana
- Watch the Ghanaian market’s trends and make sure the market research is done in the right way.
- Putting SES HD PLUS in line with the brand values of the company
- Define strategies and goals for local marketing
- Make a marketing plan that can work.
- Design and coordinate promotional campaigns and other marketing efforts across all channels (TV, print, digital, social media, POS/distributor, PR, sales trainings, fairs, events, etc.).
- Improve and keep using marketing KPIs to measure and report on the results of marketing campaigns.
- Manage Ghana’s outside marketing firms and consultants
WHO YOU ARE
Must Have
- Business administration, marketing, or communications degree from a university or the equivalent
- At least five years of professional experience in business-to-consumer marketing. A thorough understanding of the Ghanaian consumer market and distribution channels.
- Skills in making effective plans and strategies for all parts of marketing
- Expertise in planning, putting in place and keeping track of B2C marketing measures
- English is a must, and you must have experience in project and agency management.
- Willingness to travel within and outside of Ghana
Nice to Have
- Relevant work experience in a marketing role with a multinational company in the TV broadcasting, telecommunications, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
- Know how to go to market and what strategies and methods to use
