Job Title: Indirect Sales Supervisor 

Job Summary

  • The person who gets the job will be an Indirect Sales Supervisor in the department for sales and distribution.
  • He or she will report to the Regional Sales Manager and be in charge of running the company’s retail channels in the territory.
  • (S)he will also work with the Regional Sales Manager to reach strategic and operational goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Is in charge of putting company strategy and plans into action and managing them in the region he or she is in charge of.
  • Is in charge of meeting distribution and acquisition goals in the area he or she is in charge of.
  • Is in charge of getting new subscribers in his or her allotted territory through Points of Acquisition (POAs).
  • Is in charge of and accountable for leading, training, and coaching the people who work directly for him or her.
  • Take care of and teach POAs about the activation process
  • Keep and grow active, productive POAs in the area given.
  • Make sure there are enough sim cards and scratch cards at all POAs and POSs. • Tell all POAs right away about activation goals, promotions, products, and commissions.
  • Look for Market and Trade chances.
  • Get information about the market and give it to RSM
  • Plans, carries out, and gives feedback on BTL (below-the-line) initiatives with outside groups.
  • Work in the market at least twice a month on the route per Salesman or AAD.
  • Talk to each salesman and/or AAD on his team about their daily performance by route. This should be compared to the route plan that was agreed upon.
  • Make sure that all stores follow the company’s requirements for how things should be displayed and how well they can be seen.
  • Plan and run all kinds of Agent fora to make sure shops know a lot about their products.

Key KPIs / Success Criteria

  • Volume and Value target attainment.
  • Good product distribution at stores that are being watched.
  • Meeting benchmark norms for operations.
  • Development of personnel

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a college or university, or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in marketing, business studies, or a similar field.
  • At least two years of expertise in sales and distribution, preferably in FMCG, and a background in running a business.
  • Knowledge of IT programs including Microsoft Office, Distribution Management Systems, and so on.
  • It is important to be able to speak and write English in a clear and coherent way.
  • Must be able to plan well and keep track of time.
  • Must be able to carry out plans and give reports.
  • You must have a valid driver’s license and a clean record as a driver.
