1. Marketing Officer
Job Description
- Establish the Marketing Department.
- Manage and execute all marketing initiatives and day-to-day operations.
- Lead the team to develop and implement a marketing program aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Direct, supervise, and organize the marketing team.
Qualifications & Experience
- A first degree in marketing, banking and finance, economics, or a related discipline, or an approved professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA, etc. A master’s degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
- The ideal applicant should have at least 5 years of experience as a marketer or in a similar field.
- Age range: 25–40 years.
2. Credit Officers
Responsibilities
- Review loan requests and analyse clients’ creditworthiness and risks.
- Contact clients to collect financial information and documents.
- Analyse risks and approve or deny loan requests.
- Calculate financial ratios (e.g., credit sources and interest rates).
- Keep track of loan applications and arrange payment schedules for customers.
- Follow up with clients on loan renewals.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any of the following: Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Agriculture or appropriate professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA
- Demonstrated expertise as a Credit Officer
- Familiarity with lending procedures and products
- Capable of creating and processing financial spreadsheets
- Excellent analytical and customer service skills
3. Clerk
Job Description
- Pass vouchers and write registers daily.
- Provide clerical support for efficient bank operations.
- Handle customer financial transactions, inquiries, and complaints.
- Educate customers on bank products and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager and/or Agency Accountant.
Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university in Accounting, Economics, Banking, Finance or acceptable professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA
- Microsoft Excel is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience or one year as a clerk or teller of a bank
- Must have a good knowledge of the T24 banking application software
