Job Description.
We are an International Catering Company that specializes in numerous aspects of the catering industry, and we are seeking for a CHEF DE PARTIE.
Job Summary
- Sous-Chef reports to the Executive Chef.
- Responsible for supervising a shift in an allocated area of the kitchen.
- Producing food in accordance with approved specifications/recipes.
- Taking over for Sous Chef when he or she is absent.
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manages daily production shifts.
- Shift personnel are trained and monitored to ensure that they follow proper work rules and produce food components.
- Responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with authorized specifications and recipes.
- Monitors product yields to ensure maximum usage.
- Ensures that quality production requirements are met and maintained.
- Enforces HACCP and regional safety regulations in accordance with gategroup rules and procedures.
- Prepare a material list for the specific recipes.
Required Skill or Experience
To qualify as a Chef by trade, an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts, formal culinary education, or a similar field is required.
