Job Title: Medical Delegate

Minimum Qualification: At least a bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy, nutrition, biochemistry, or biological studies is required.

Minimum Relevant Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative, Nutritionist, Dietician, Nurse, Pharmacist, or in a clinically related area.

Nestlé Ghana is looking for a Medical Delegate to be part of a high-performing team that promotes exclusive breastfeeding and gives accurate scientific information to Healthcare Professionals about Nestlé’s Infant Nutritional Solutions, their features, advantages, benefits, and the right way to use them according to the WHO Code, LI 1667, and Nestlé’s Instructions.

A day in a Life……

Coordinate and make sure that Health Care Professionals (HCP) communication plans and tools are carried out correctly in line with Field Force goals, working closely with the Performance Development Management Team (e.g., Annual Medical Detailing Plan, Communication Planning, and Key Priorities).

Evaluate and make suggestions about how Nestlé Nutrition can be involved in medical events and workshops to spread the word about its products and services.

What will help you do well?

  • Experience explaining nutrition options to people in the medical field.
  • Experience working and managing resources in the best way possible to reach the goals and working with other partners.
  • Ability to work alone in a difficult situation to meet and exceed goals
  • Taking care of projects and jobs, like organizing events with medical and non-medical health professionals about infant nutrition, products, R&D, etc.
  • Effectively explain diet and product ideas to healthcare professionals to meet their needs.
  • Has worked alone to build and maintain long-term ties with top health officials.
  • Knowing how to use computers (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent skills in speaking, presenting, negotiating, getting along with others, analyzing, and persuading.
  • Planning, organizing, and doing the work are all ways to make sure that work gets done quickly.
