Responsibilities of Mechanical Engineer Jobs

You will be in charge of all AON3D maintenance engineering initiatives aimed at maintaining our current product lines, including long-term validation, feature development, and manufacturing improvements. Most of this work will focus on the linear, thermal, and mechanical motion systems that are used in 3D printers, and constant communication with our production, engineering, and customer success teams will be necessary.

We are a small team, therefore this role offers lots of opportunities to make significant changes that will direct the product and greatly impact our users both inside and externally.

Requirements for Mechanical Engineer Jobs

• Six or more years of professional experience following graduation in mechanical system design, development, prototyping, and verification.
• Familiarity with creating at least one mechanical product.
• Familiarity with product certification and compliance standards, such as CE, ETL, TUV, CSA, and UL.
• Capacity to assess product quality and viability using standard Inspection techniques, equipment, and gauges.
• SolidWorks proficiency and user-friendliness.

Nice-to-have

Knowledge of at least one of the following:

• Additive manufacturing
• Precision mechanical systems
• Design for applications involving high temperatures.
