Job Description

To improve enterprise threat detection and prevention, anticipate emerging threats, and facilitate emergency response fueled by a common understanding of TD’s threat landscape, information needs, and operational priorities across all domains, the TD Fusion Center’s mission is to give the Bank an integrated and consolidated operational hub.

To become a member of the Fusion Automation team within the Fusion Center, TD is now hiring a Safety Specialist. To enable the global Fusion teams to manage cyber threats and fraud per TD Fusion Center’s core objectives and priorities, you will contribute technical leadership in projects and subject matter expertise in the implementation of integrated solutions and automated business processes.

To effectively handle internal or external events that pose a financial, reputational, or operational risk to TD, the Safety Specialist will report to the senior supervisor of the Fusion Automation staff and be responsible for the proposal, design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of automation options for cybersecurity operations, safety incident response, investigation, and communications.

As an active participant in the beginning, planning, delivery, and deployment stages of a product and assuring stakeholder value alignment, the Safety Specialist will be part of an agile delivery team.

Responsibilities

  • Have discussions about automation and better tooling choices with Fusion Center partners.
  • Distribute resolution ideas to relevant parties by documenting them.
  • Develop junior staff members’ supply and field expertise.
  • Make a substantial contribution to the agile team’s sprint plans, user stories, and epic creation.
  • Develop and build options using an agile methodology.
  • Participate actively in retrospective sessions and/or other internal review processes to encourage the continuous improvement of agile delivery practices.
  • Investigation of novel tools and technologies to guarantee wise technical choices.
  • Assign session providers to other members of the Fusion Center mostly according to their areas of expertise.
  • Train and share information with a variety of staff members or groups.
  • Attend project meetings on behalf of the team and give precise status updates.
  • Respect insurance regulations, procedures, and management standards
  • Maintain relationships and correspondence with different groups/perform

Necessities

  • Education beyond high school in computer science, cybersecurity, or related fields
  • Instances of success in offering options for usage in the industry
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Technical competency in management
  • Proficiency in programming, ideally with Python
  • Web (for those above five)
  • Proficiency with API creation and API-based integration
  • Three to five years of automation expertise
  • The understanding of developing in a public/private cloud hybrid environment.

  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and the deployment of ServiceNow strong familiarity with or background in security orchestration tools (Cortex XSOAR or similar)
  • Strong grasp of cloud services and technologies, preferably with proficiency in Sentinel, Energy, and Microsoft Azure Logic Apps. Automated certification according to the CISSP or a similar standard is advantageous.
  • It is advantageous to know about cybersecurity incident management or operations.
