Job Vacancy for Procurement Officer
A reputable public service organisation wishes to appoint competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant position: Procurement Officer
Responsibilities
- Firstly, Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
- Secondly, Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Thirdly, Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Moreover, Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Finally, Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Requirement
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain
- Management, Procurement or any related field of study from a reputable institution.
- A certificate in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of procurement.
