Job Description

A Construction Company is looking to employ a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor who has specialized in road or building construction.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Firstly, Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
• Secondly, Prepare, negotiate and analyze costs for tenders and contracts
• Thirdly, Coordinate work effort
• Then, Advise on a range of legal and contractual issues
• Finally, Value completed work and arranging for payments

Required Skills or Experience

Education

• Have a Degree equivalent
• Must have 5 years’ experience in related field

Skills and Abilities

• Be Computer literate
• Then, Be ready to work under pressure with less or no supervision
• Work efficiently in a team
• Should have good communication skills; both verbal and written
• Should have commendable analytical abilities
• Should be comfortable with necessary documentations
• Should be capable of working in adverse situations
• Proper social etiquette and cultural knowledge
• Also, Creative and problem solving skills
• Lastly, Good negotiations skills
