A prominent corporation based in the industrial centre of Tema requires an Assistant Manager for Customer Service and Sales.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist the manager in planning and carrying out customer service duties.
- Plan, coordinate, and assign the daily workload to the customer service team.
- Supervise the team’s ability to provide good and outstanding customer service.
- Ensure that the staff responds to customer requests and issues immediately and properly.
- Assist in addressing employee problems and creating a customer-focused environment.
- Organize job training for the team to accomplish departmental goals.
- Ensure that the team adheres to business policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee recruiting, training, discipline, performance reviews, promotions, and terminations.
- Address escalated and difficult customer issues on schedule.
- Provide backup help to team members as needed.
- Provide world-class service to ensure customer happiness.
- Anticipate client needs and provide quick responses to satisfy their expectations.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting customer service quality and efficiency.
- Recommend best practices for meeting service level agreements and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Handle large quantities of consumer calls and perform well under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration
- Experience with mining operations
- Age between 25 and 40 years
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong team player with adaptability to diverse environments
- Willingness to travel within and outside Ghana (West Africa)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills
- Residents of Tema and its vicinity
