Job Title: Student Recruiter and Marketing Officer
The Role
- The person in this job will be in charge of making and putting into action the organization’s marketing and student recruitment plan.
- You will give advice and direction to staff across the organization about undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment issues, such as portfolio development using market intelligence.
- You will be in charge of collecting and using data to help shape the organization’s strategy and help make decisions about its recruitment plan and reputation.
- You will organize recruitment events and represent the organization to get the word out about the organization’s services and make more people aware of them.
Principal duties:
- Find potential students who want to study in the countries where we work and give advice, and help them fill out their university applications.
- To help students get ready for their visa interviews after they have been accepted
- To represent the company at school and college events and recruitment drives outside of your area of operations
- To act as the organization’s representative for recruitment work. To give accurate information, advice, and guidance to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students about courses and student life in the different universities that we represent.
- Give high-quality talks on and off campus about our partner universities and other things related to higher education
- Plan, run, and evaluate workshops that show off the organization and our partners, making sure that the information is correct, up-to-date, and right for the right people.
- To communicate and build relationships with other stakeholders and career professionals in order to meet recruitment goals.
- To help plan and run large-scale recruitment events like Open Days, recruitment fairs, and partner delegate visits.
- To work with the organization’s academic and professional staff and our partners to carry out recruitment and conversion activities in Nigeria and the UK.
- To create, run, and evaluate online recruitment and conversion activities like web chats and other social media platforms
- Maintain, update, and stay up-to-date on professional knowledge and sector-wide issues related to the role, as well as share best practices and train other coworkers as needed.
- To help the University evaluate and improve its activities to bring in new students.
- Working with coworkers both inside and outside the company to find, recruit, and interview a pool of student ambassadors, mentors, and advocates who will help with outreach activities.
- Working with other people to make a training and development program for ambassadors and mentors that runs all the time.
- Any other tasks related to the job that the line manager asks for
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
Training from the British Council in student recruitment and how to apply for a student visa will be a useful skills.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in student recruitment or a related field.
- Pay: between GHS 5,000 and GHS 8,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Phone and laptop for work
- Commission on the goal being met.
