About the company
AGROPAL West Africa Limited (AGROPAL) is an agribusiness whose main goal is to process and sell West African fruits on foreign markets. AGROPAL makes dried fruits, most of which come from mangoes and pineapples. Our goal is to give everyone in the agricultural value chain the tools they need to help the whole field grow. Our goal is for Ghana and West Africa to have a thriving agricultural industry that boosts economies, gives people jobs, and improves food security and health.
The company is seeking to recruit experienced and professional individuals to occupy the following positions
POSITIONS
1 . Manager of Production
- Make sure the quality policy, processes, work instructions, and documented food safety and quality systems are followed. Also, make sure that all legal and regulatory standards are met.
- Make sure the tools and materials you need to do your work are easy to find.
- Make sure that daily group goals are met on time and are met.
- Make sure that the raw materials you get to handle are of the right quality and amount.
- Make sure that the raw fruits that are brought are kept in the right places.
- To keep food from going bad, it is important to keep track of stock and use the “first-in, first-out” (FIFO) or “last-in, first-out” (LIFO) system.
- Housekeeping and hygiene norms are met.
- Make sure that each group gets to work on time every day.
2 . Officer in Charge of Quality
- Make sure you follow all quality processes for washing and storing fruit.
- At the processing machine, check the quality of peeling and cutting and fill out a quality control sheet.
- At the packing room, you should check the quality of the packing and fill out a quality control sheet.
- Follow the process for finished goods control to check the quality of the pallets.
- Make sure that all measuring tools in the lab and workplace are checked and calibrated every day.
- Keep an eye on and manage all places and conditions of storage.
- Food safety and quality problems are taught and coached to factory workers all the time.
- Standards for cleaning are met.
